Brown vs. Board of Education was an extension onto the previous Brown vs. Board of Education court ruling. The second Brown vs. Board of Education was passed May 31st, 1955 and stated that the ruling of Brown vs. Board had to be effective immediately in all schools and with deliberate speed. This was based on the fact that most schools had disregarded the ruling.
