Huey Newton and Bobby Seale founded the black panther party. the black panthers were a political group who's goal was to challenge police brutality again African American communities. in 1968the lack panther had about 2,000 members hitting its peak. the group later declined due to internal tensions and counterintelligence activities directed by the FBI.
