Rosa Parks was a civil rights leader who is best known for refusing to give up her seat on a public bus to a white man. She was arrested and it lead to the spark of the Montgomery bus boycotts, where African Americans refused to take public transportation until the buses were desegregated. It was a big catalyst of the civil rights movemenemts all throughout America. She triggered the urge of people to fight against racism, discrimination, and segregation in America.
