"The body of Dr. Hamilton was found in the backyard of a derelict property near his apartment two days after disappearing from his apartment on the 3rd of December. The cause of death was determined to be heavy physical trauma to the back of the head and spine. A metal rod, later classified as the murder weapon, was found buried under the soil in the backyard. Autopsy reveals burn marks and laceration on his throat, possibly from a rope, and is theorized that Dr. Hamilton was suffocated to the point of unconsciousness and moved to the body's current location. It is unknown whether Dr. Hamilton, at any point, regained consciousness."
