Descrição:
Iopo vs Haban
The final battle of the 3rd Io-Haban War
White peace
The Battle of Ciapenama occurred about 13 miles north/northeast of modern day Javipenta next to Capat Nom (Red Hill). The battle was the final Iopon push for anymore northern territory and both sides were already severely depleted at this point. It determined the furthest extent of Iopon controlled territory and during the battle, the Iopon side was losing, looking like a retreat was going to happen until the Iopon military leader Pamopiena the Bold arrived from the South with an army of Yutengic and Barob mercenaries. Pamopiena was able to push back the Haban line about 2 miles and cement an unbreakable Iopon defensive line which lasted until the end of the battle.
For his efforts, many soldiers called him the Savior or Javieta and he was known as Pamopiena Javieta. As time went on, his name and title became the eponyms for Javipenta and then also Efemope and other locales in the area. He was also given command of the territory after the end of the 3rd Io-Haban War, which he held until his death in 87 BG at the age of 43. (He was born in 130 BG in Aidha).
