Starting from 1905, a German scientist named Albert Einstein began to publish his ideas on how the physics of the Universe worked. Building on the works of Isaac Newton, Einstein eventually developed a theory around 1915 known as "general relativity".

The theory was revolutionary amongst the scientific community as it explained how time, space, and matter all work together. Following this, Einstein continued to research into different aspects of physics, eventually making significant progress in the field of light, molecules, and even energy with his most famous formula, E = mc (2).

Ultimately, Einstein's work would help lay the foundation of all modern branches of physics. His name would become synonymous with the word "genius" and is considered one of the greatest scientists of all time.
