1214年5月18日，金宣宗完颜珣为躲避蒙古进攻，将国都从中都迁至汴京，史称“宣宗南迁”。此举被视为金朝国势衰落的标志，虽然暂避战火，却未能挽救政权。蒙古人将其视为软弱信号，持续加紧攻势，最终导致金朝在1234年灭亡。
