As Prussian Prime Minister Otto Braun led a Social Democratic [SPD] a center party coalition from 1920 to 1932. Braun was one of a few politicians who offered an alternative to far right groups like the Nazis and he was the most popular pro-Weimar Politician. Prussia achieved the greatest stability during Brauns years in office, making Prussia the Bulwark of the Weimar republic
