1 set 1676 ano - Bacon's Rebellion

Descrição:

In 1676, Nathaniel Bacon led thousands of Virginians, including enslaved Africans and indentured white and black servants, who rose collectively and fought against Virginia's governor, William Berkeley. Months of fighting eventually came to an end in September 1676 with Bacon's militia capturing Jamestown and burning it to the ground. Following Bacon’s Rebellion, Virginia lawmakers started creating laws that clearly separated “white” and “black” residents by race.
