Included as the timing of posting this is interesting - no one could have escaped the media coverage of Johnny Depp loosing the UK trial and resigning from Fantastic Beasts - and as the music from POTC appears a popular choice with musicians the franchise is so closely associated with Captain Jack Sparrow (and hence Johnny Depp) it follows this was an intentional choice.
