The revolutionary guerillas, led by Che Guevarra as commander, storm Santa Clara. Guevarra and his team would successfully derail and armored train full of reinforcements. After four days of barely any progress, they make their breakthrough and take over the city and Santiago de Cuba. This would be the culminating and final blow in the military efforts against the Cuban dictator, Batista.
