Brian Braddock loses control of his car while leaving the Darkmoor Facility late at night in the rain. His vehicle lands in Dozmay Pool, where instead of sinking, it emerges in Annwn. There, he is taken in by the elves and held. He is visited by the spirit of Arthur, who tells him to ask for the choice. Giving him the choice between the Sword of Might and the Amulet of Right, Brian chooses the Amulet. This imbues him with great powers. He is allowed to return to Earth, accompanied by Meggan, who will serve as the guardian of the Amulet.
