Audiobooks are recordings of books read aloud, allowing listeners to experience literature through audio. Whilst they began to emerge in the 1930s they started getting popular in the 80s due to more advanced technology. i have included the invention of audio books in my timeline as it made it easy for people who couldn't read to enjoy the wonder of books.
