Milton Frantig is an employee at the Reston Primate Quarantine Unit. On December 4th, 1989 he exited the facility tripping over himself, hardly able to walk. He was throwing up and had a fever over 101 degrees. This case frightened those in charge of the Reston Facility so they decided to implement a full shutdown and gave the United States Army full reign.

The CDC stepped in for Milton Frantig as they were in charge of Human affairs. They sent Frantig to a local hospital. As they were beginning to transport him, a local news van arrived and reported on the situation, destroying all privacy. When the ambulance arrived to the hospital and Frantig was settled, he claimed to be feeling better. This again confused the lines between Ebola and other causes.
