Description:
The Conquest of Chiloé, also known as campaign or campaigns of Chiloé is the name given to a series of military operations that occurred between 1820 and 1826, fought between realists (Peninsulares and Chilotes) and Chilean patriots for the control of the Chiloé archipelago , last enclave that remained in the power of the Spanish Monarchy in the current Chilean territory after the end of the New Homeland in 1823.
