Sui (may 4, 589 – jan 22, 618)
Description:
After the Han Dynasty and the period of the Three Kingdoms, the Sui dynasty came to power and had a goal of reuniting the people of China. The Sui building up to the Golden Age by starting Neo-Confucianism, promoting Buddhism, and starting the Grand Canal. However, Emperor Wen Di’s son came to power, bankrupt the government, and caused them to lose all their power.
