Zhou (may 1, 1029 BC – aug 20, 258 BC)
Description:
The Zhou dynasty began to connect the people of China when they claimed the Mandate of Heaven, which said that God had chosen them to rule over China. The Zhou introduced a standard spoken language, brought about migration and the Mandate of Heaven. The Zhou did begin to lose their cultural unity, which caused them to experience a slow decline.
