Description:
Alvar Nunez Cabeza De Vaca was shipwrecked on the coast of Texas, Good news was he and some of the crew were saved by the Karankawa, Bad News was that He was found by the Karankawa which soon after he found to be the people who enslaved him. To Sum up this tale, He saved the chief's son, this granted him some trust amongst the natives and later he found three of crew members in another village. Together they snuck out undetected and went around most of Texas to finally find New Spain (Later Mexico).
After He returned back he told of Exploits and made up a myth that he saw a Golden house, this Started the Myth of Cibola
