Description:
A prominent French revolutionary journalist and leader of the radical Hébertists faction during the French Revolution. He was known for his newspaper, Le Père Duchesne, which was popular with the sans-culottes and played a significant role in stirring up radical sentiment. Hébert and his followers, known as Hébertists, were associated with the most extreme measures of the Reign of Terror.
