Description:
A prominent French statesman, general, and mathematician, especially known for his contributions to the French Revolutionary War. He served on the Committee of Public Safety and is credited with the "levée en masse," a mass conscription that significantly boosted the French Revolutionary Army. He was also known as the "Organizer of Victory" for his role in directing the war effort.
