Henry of Navarre (later Henry IV) (jan 1, 1553 – jan 1, 1610)
Description:
The first Bourbon king of France, reigning from 1589 to 1610. He was initially the King of Navarre (as Henry III) before succeeding to the French throne after the death of Henry III of France, the last Valois king. His rule was marked by the end of the French Wars of Religion, his conversion to Catholicism, and the establishment of the Edict of Nantes.
