Kutchicetus (jan 1, 46000000 BC – jan 1, 43000000 BC)

Description:

This is when the water levels started to rise and the Pakicetus could not use much of its legs to use. This is also during the time when the Kutchicetus was around tropical islands and because when scientists found the fossils, it was near the tropical area. This is when the previous evolution whales started to have a more powerful tail, shorter legs, and had more brackish water (more salt rather than freshwater), had a fat pad in its jaw for hearing. This helped this organism because this time the water started to become more often found and the Kutchicetus was near water, so its legs started to shorten and the tail began to become more powerful.
