Lucy Stone (aug 13, 1818 – oct 18, 1893)
A dedicated woman active in women's right and abolitionist movement, courageously defied her antagonistic parents wishes. Lucy Stone defied her parents to pursue a higher education , and defied her parents to support abolition. Her unique speaking talents tapped into her goal to eradicate slavery. Eventually she sets up a women suffrage organization known as American Equal rights association. She made womens rights easier to grab.
