Description:
Germany's last major offensive on the Western Front was an unsuccessful attempt to push the Allies back from home territory. They wanted to push the Allied front line west from Northern France to Belgium. Their tactic, the "bulge", was German forces set around the area of the Ardennes forest, pushing through the American defensive line.
