Doolittle Raid (apr 18, 1942 – sep 27, 1943)
Description:
The allied gains against the Axis powers in 1942-1943 were not limited to the south and the east of Europe. The pacific theatre had its fair of the turning points in those years which highlighted the importance of the aircraft carriers and the airplanes to conduct the wars in the Pacific.
