Boston Tea Party (jan 8, 1773 – jan 8, 1773)
Description:
The Boston tea party was a political movement by about 116 patriots, some of which dressed as mohawks for more symbolic meaning. Also they threw a bunch of boxes of tea from the boats which were importing that tea. This caused the British to lose a bunch of money due to the tea lost, the damages lost were approx one million dollars. This was considered a win from the patriots to their revolution for independence. The reason this protest was considered a major one is because of the symbolic effect and the literal effect to the people and british officials of that time.
