Completion of the Grand Central Depot (oct 1, 1871 – oct 1, 1871)
Description:
Although the exact date of the completion of the Grand Central Depot is not known entirely. It is known that the Grand Central Depot was completed in October of 1871. The role of the depot was to connect the trains of New York Central and Hudson River Railroad, the New York and Harlem Railroad, and the New York and New Haven Railroad into one station.
