Description:
This was the year I had one of my favorite teachers in high school. Mrs. Ali. I had her first for sociology and later for AP Psychology. She was personable, lively, fun, and engaging. She brought energy to the classroom and found the good in every single one of her students. I specifically remember EVERYONE wanting to have her for a teacher, and would take electives they weren’t even necessarily interested in just to have her. Even the “difficult” kids wanted her as their teacher. Students were always stopping by before and after class to say hello and catch up. She made everyone feel important and special. And I think that is so unique and great to experience as a student. You always knew you had at least one person on your side at that school, even if you only had her one semester.
