Description:
after taking control, the communists immediately put the radical ideas of Pol Pot into law. No money, not religion, forced communal farms, no education, no newspapers, no private property, and worst of all, in an effort to rid the country of minorities and "intellectuals" who opposed them, hundreds of thousands of Cambodian citizens were killed. Estemated 2 million which is a quarter of the population at the time.
