Bleeding Kansas (jun 1, 1854 – jun 1, 1861)

Description:

Bleeding Kansas happened because Kansas was allowed to choose if they were a free state or a slave state. Two sides also known as southern slave owners and the northern abolitionists moved to Kansas. They moved to Kansas to help vote on if it was free or not. Many southerners and northerners were killed.
