Slavery (jan 1, 1619 – jan 1, 1863)

Description:

Slavery was a system where people that are lower in wealth or privileges are forced to work for others that have more power against them. This brutal act was later ended with the help of Abraham Lincon and other civil rights protesters.

Many southerners loved the idea and took that idea to extreme measures such as slave auctions.
