Reign of Caligula (mar 18, 37 – jan 24, 41)
Description:
Caligula is known as one of the worst Roman Emperor's ever lived. He is an iconic bad guy in history. Caligula wasn't his real name. Germanicus's troops called him "Caligula" meaning "Little Boots" or "Booties." If Caligula was crazy, a physical ailment might have been to blame. He would talk to the moon, order arbitrary executions and tried to make his horse a consul. Some believe that an illness made him unhinged. Possibly temporal lobe epilepsy, hyperthyroidism, or Wilson's disease.
