The Mongol Empire/Period (jan 1, 1206 – jan 1, 1368)
Description:
The Mongol empire was started in 1206 by Genghis Khan. it originated form the centre of Mongol in central Asia, and by the late 1300's, it ranged from the Pacific Ocean to Persian Gulf. When Temujin was elected Genghis Khan of multiple tribes on the banks of the Onon River, that is known as the beginning of the Mongol empire.
