Punched card was invented (jan 1, 1880 – dec 1, 1890)
Description:
The three reasons why this invention is important:
1. It is the first invention that could contain digital data which can be used for data processing
2. Many early digital computers used punched cards for input of both computer programs and data
3. Punched cards might not seem as important but when you start to compare it to today's technologies you start to understand how important it is for example punched cards are data storage's like discs or USB sticks and those are super important in today's world
