King Zedekiah (jan 1, 598 BC – jan 1, 586 BC)
Description:
Was installed after his father and brother (Jehoiakim and Jehoiachim) were taken into exile. He tried to switch sides and ally with the Egyptians (against the advice of Jeremiah, Baruch, et al) and Nebuchadnezzar responded by sacking Jerusalem and slaughtering much of Judah.
