Starving Time (jan 1, 1609 – jan 1, 1609)

Description:

John Smith left Jamestown when an accidental gunpowder burn which I think Smith got injured in the processes. After he left the colonist once again suffered hardships. From 1609-10 they suffered what is known as the Starving Time. Supplies I think were running out, some primary sources after or before the starving time hint that the Native Americans sealed off the colonists in order to starve them. Hunger and dieases made spread through Jamestown. Without Smith they were once again experienced colonist who didn't know how to harvest. Other stayed that the Starving Time happened because of the Native Americans who sealed them off in order for them to not get food.
