~7:50 AM: Jared Padgett arrives at Reynolds High School with a guitar case and a green army bag, and makes his way to the gym locker room.
~8:00 AM: Emilio Hoffman enters the locker room, confronting Jared as he prepares for the shooting. Emilio is shot twice in the chest.
8:05 AM: PE Teacher Todd Rispler investigates the locker room after hearing shots, and suffers a grazing wound as he attempted to escape.
8:07 AM: Dispatchers receive notice of an active shooter at Reynolds High School, with administrators reporting that one person is "down"
8:08 AM: School Resource Officer Kyle Harris enters the locker room area in search of the shooter, reporting that he can smell gunpowder and observes a spent shell casing on the floor.
8:15 AM: Troutdale Police, and other surrounding jurisdictions, stage outside of the school. Officer Casey Kotsovos reports additional gunfire and moves into the building.
8:25 AM: Lt. Chris Wheeler from Gresham Police Department confirm one student is killed.
8:28 AM: Ofc. Travis Garrison, Reynolds High Resource officer, reports that the shooter is "down and contained in the bathroom". Police recover a green military bag, guitar case, AR-15 rifle, and several loaded magazines.
8:51 AM: Students begin to evacuate the school, with hundreds of police officers guiding the efforts.
8:54 AM: FBI arrives on scene, parents are instructed to reunite with students at Cherry Park Safeway
8:57 AM: Police reports indicate three shooters, two of whom fled the scene. One of the suspects was arrested at a church and was still armed at the time.
9:10 AM: Parents are given new instructions for reunification, told to meet their children at Fred Meyer Wood Village.
9:20 AM: Multnomah County Sheriff's Office confirms that one shooter is dead.
9:30 AM: Multnomah County Sheriff officials confirm that there was a single shooter, correcting earlier reports of three shooters.
9:41 AM: Reynolds High School still under lockdown as evacuation continues, police estimate two hours for the building to be clear.
10:09 AM: School begins late for some students due to finals schedule, several students turned away by police and are informed of the shooting.
10:16 AM: Police report publicly that one student was killed in the shooting.
10:47 AM: Students begin discussing the shooting with reporters on scene, describing the confusion over number of shooters and the wounded PE teacher. Students state that two people were discovered with guns during police patdowns
12:00 PM: Troutdale Police hold a press conference to update the community on the situation at Reynolds High.
1:55 PM: Police confirm that all students have been evacuated from the school and transferred to Fred Meyer to reunite with parents.
4:35: Hoffman Family friend confirms that Emilio Hoffman was the student killed in the shooting.
5:50: School Resource Officers Kyle Harris and Nick Thompson are credited with minimizing the scope of the shooting. They responded "in less than a minute".
BY END OF DAY: 6/10/2014: Shooter's identity is still unknown to the public, law enforcement reported that the shooter was a student who took the bus to school.
