First meeting Women Religious
Project Women Incorporated on December 15th.
Aug. 5, 1996. Hired first Social Worker (part-time).
Opened Sophia Center at 1935 W. Chestnut St. and began housing for a max of three families
PW moved to The Cloister at 806 E. Chestnut St. to expand housing.
PW opened offices in the basement of The Cloister. PW hired Anne Mary Lochner, OSU to serve as first Executive Director.
First Annul Luncheon for PW (made $13,000). Our featured speaker was Sara White co-head coach of the UofL Lady Cards Basketball team.
Second Luncheon Speaker - Judge Janice Martin
PW expanded housing - ultimately having 17 families in residence. After losing Bingo Funds - PW housed fewer families.
