10 July – 31 October 1940 - Battle Of Britain Begins, Britain Air Force defended the United Kingdom against attacks by the German Air Force.
September 3, 1939 - Britain declares war on Germany. "Britain and France are at war with Germany following the invasion of Poland two days ago." - BBC News
September 2, 1940 - Destroyers for Bases Agreement. In this agreement Britain gets 50 U.S. Navy destroyers for 8 bases.
May 27 - June 4, 1940 - The Dunkirk evacuation, code-named Operation Dynamo, was the evacuation of Allied soldiers from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, in the north of France.
March 4th, 1933 - Franklin D. Roosevelt becomes the president of United States.
July 26, 1941 - Franklin D. Roosevelt freezes Japanese assets in the United States in retaliation for the Japanese taking over IndoChina.

Feb. 26, 1935 - Hitler Builds The Luftwaffe, The Luftwaffe is the air force for Germany in World War 2.
January 30, 1933 - Hitler gains power in Germany.
June 22, 1941 - Hitler invades Soviet Union (Russia) Green = Germany Orange = Soviet Union
October 1, 1938 - Hitler invades Sudetenland and wants to annex it.
July 18, 1925 - Hitler writes Mein Kampf in prison , Mein Kampf means my struggle in German. This book talks about his future plans and political ideology.
28 July 1941 - Japan attacks IndoChina to make an Asia for Asians.

Mussolini was born July, 29 1883. He didn't rise to power until October, 1922, ruling as prime minister until 1943. Then in 1945 on April 28th Mussolini was executed.
September 30 1938 - Munich Conference, Hitler met with representatives from France, the United Kingdom, and Italy. An agreement where Hitler could annex the Sudetenland provided he promised not to invade anywhere else.

June 10, 1940 - Nazis take over France. Germany outflanked the Maginot Line and pushed deep into France, occupying Paris.
October, 1935 - Neutrality Act of 1935 American citizens and ships were barred from entering war zones designated by the President, and the National Munitions Control Board.
February, 1936 - Neutrality Act of 1936 It forbade all loans or credits to hostiles. However, this act did not cover "civil wars," such as that in Spain, neither did it cover materials such as trucks and oil.
January, 1937 - Neutrality Act of 1937, the Congress passed a joint resolution outlawing the arms trade with Spain.

December 7, 1941 - Pearl Harbor, Japan bombs Hawaiian Islands to destroy American fleet. 8 destroyers were destroyed, over 2,000 Americans died, around 1,100 were injured. This "act of infamy" will bring the United States into war.
Jul 17, 1936 -Spanish Civil War, military revolt against the government of Spain. When an initial military coup failed to win control of the entire country, a bloody civil war ensued, fought with great ferocity on both sides. It will end on Apr 1, 1939.

June 28, 1919 - The Treaty of Versailles was the most important of the peace treaties that brought World War I to an end. The Treaty ended the war between Germany and the Allied Powers.
Nov. 19, 1919 - U.S. rejects the league of nations which could enforce the Treaty of Versailles, and persuade countries to keep the promises they had made.
