1215 Magna Carta King James signed the Magna Carta limiting his power.
1492 Columbus Columbus sailed to the Americas on three Spanish ships.
1607 Jamestown Colonists were sent by King James to find gold and they established Jamestown.
1620 Mayflower Compact Pilgrims from Plymouth colony signed the Mayflower Compact.
1733 The 13 British Colonies established All the 13 British Colonies were formed.
1754 - 1763 French/Indian war French and Indians against British and colonists for land outside the colonies.
1765 Stamp Act Britain started taxing all paper products.
1770 Boston massacre 5 people killed because of protesting.
1773 Boston Tea Party Colonists dumped tea into the Boston harbor provoking the British.
