(January 4,1943) Bruno comes home from school and finds Maria packing his stuff in crates ready for the to move.
(January 3,1942) Axis forces surrendered at Bardia, Libya. Some 2,200 German troops and 4,400 Italians were captured.
( January 6, 1943) Bruno and his family move into the new house in Out-With, Poland. Next to Auschwitz concentration camp.
(January 10,1943) Bruno makes his tire swing after asking Lieutenant Kurt Kotler. Fell off the swing then met Pavol (one of the workers from the house).

(Januray 14,1944)Once Bruno finds out hes moving back home, Bruno and Shmuel plan there last adventure. By sneaking Bruno into the camp because he wanted to experience it himself.
(January 15,1944) Bruno and Shmuel get brought to the gas chamber while they think they are getting a shower but get gassed instead and die.
(January 12,1944) Mother and Father decide Auschwitz is no place for a child, so Mother , Gretel and Bruno will move back to Berlin.
(January 15,1944) the Soldiers had been going around town and looking for Bruno with pictures of him in the town. They found his boots and clothes at the edge of the fence and rush to the Commander at the camp. They didn't get there in time.
(January 27,1945) Auschwitz camp was liberated by the soviet army. They found 7,000 remaining prisoners while the rest were evacuated by the Nazi's to destroy evidence.

(February 2,1943) The Germans surrender at Stalingrad, Soviet Union.
(July 20,1944) Failed attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler by Claus von Stauffenberg.
