Yoritomo becomes the first shogun
Feudalism starts appearing in Japan.

Mongols take over China. Kublai Khan sends officials to Japan to demand tribute.
Kublai Khan sends thousands of troops to Japan, but samurai defended the attack.
Kublai sends more officials to demand tribute, but the shogun had them beheaded.
Kublai Khan tries to attack Japan again, but the samurai fought them off.
