The Trustee Period Ended and the Royal colony officially started.
The charter finally went through parliament and Georgia got it's first governor.
Georgia's first governor was John Reynolds He was governor from 1754-1757. He was not popular among the settlers and didn't work well with the Native Americans

The second governor of Georgia was Henry Ellis. He was governor from 1757-1760. He had a good relationship with the Native Americans.
James Wright was governor from 1760-1776. He was the most popular among the settlers.
James Oglethorpe and settlers arrived in Georgia on the Ship Ann.
The charter of 1732 gave permission for the 21 Trustees to settle in Georgia
The Salzburgers came to Georgia from present day Austria. They hoped to establish the Silk Industry.
177 Highland Scots came to Georgia. They were brave and determined warriors.
The colony of Georgia was freed from British rule.
