15000-30000 years ago ~ Human Discovery: In between the time period of 100,000 and 10,000 years ago, there was a glacier landbridge from Far East Russia to Alaska. 30,000 to 15,000 years ago, it is speculated that hunters from Asia had crossed this landbridge to North America, making them the first humans to visit North America.
12000 years ago ~ Break of the Landbridge: Over the next few thousands of years following the first humans to visit the Americas, these humans spread across the North, Central, and Southern areas of the landmass. The glaciers presumably melted about 12,000 years ago, making these humans unable to move across the continents of Asia and North America. At that time, they were forced to adapt in the Americas.
