From 1868 to 1902, Cuba fought for their independence from Spain. Even after gaining their freedom, they still struggled to establish themselves until Fidel Castro provides a source of strong leadership. This timeline will show Cuba’s journey to independence and the revolution against Fulgencio Batista and his corrupt rule.
