The Mayflower returned to England and leaves the 19 pilgrim families to live on their own. They had basic things but no way home. More then half the pilgrims die. They started with 100 people now only 15. Today more then 10% of people can trace there ancestry back to the 100 pilgrims . During this time they met the Indians and Thanksgiving came from this. Over the next century people came in large numbers to make better lives for themselves and America grew rapidly.
