9 dic 1952 anni - Brown V Board of Education
Descrizione:
Many cases were consolidated under the name of Brown V Board of Education because of their shared dilemma of segregation in public school. The plaintiff's argument, represented by Thurgood Marshall, was that the segregation violated the "Equal Protection Clause" of the 14th amendment. The Supreme Court justices were divided on this subject, and reconvened about a year later where new Chief justice Warren brought the whole panel to a unanimous decision that segregation in public schools was unconstitutional.
