The Iron Age started in 1200 BC. The Iron Age ended in 230 BC. This is when iron and steel became a greater use of metal tools that were stronger than the previous Bronze Age items. This era led to developments in agricultural production, and we saw the first ever evidence of written manuscripts, which includes impressive religious texts like the Indian Vedas and the Hebrew Bible.
