(around the end of Febuary or Start of March) Hudson and Weaver are revealed to be Mason's interrogators. They tell him that Dragovich has communist sleeper cells placed all over the US, when ordered by the numbers broadcast will release the Nova-6 gas. As a result of this the US is preparing a pre-emptive nuclear strike which according to MAD would cause WW3. Hudson needed Steiner to abort the gas launch, but after his death only Mason has knowledge of the numbers station. Hudson also reveals that Mason was brainwashed by Dragovich to understand the numbers broadcasts and kill John F Kennedy, making him a Soviet Sleeper Agent. Reznov never escaped but died during The Vorkuta Gulag Uprising, and the Soviet Defector in Hue was killed before Mason reached him. Mason seeing Reznov after his death was because of a dissociative disorder caused by the brainwashing program. Before the Vorkuta Gulag Uprising Reznov reprogrammed Mason to kill Dragovich, Kravchenko, and Steiner instead. Mason remembers where the broadcast station is.
