Description:
A late work by Italian sculptor Antonio Canova made somewhere between 1813 and 1816, The Three Graces was made faithful to the Neoclassical ideal. Embodied in this sculpture was the perception of beauty in the form of three goddesses that were said to personify the feminine charm. The marble art piece was aquired by the Hermitage museum and has been there since 1901.
